Environmentalism isn’t just a hot topic right now. It’s an identity.

The natural world is very important to me. I make this clear with my deep love of the wild, a wee carbon footprint, & involvement in environmental activism. I’ve also been building a career as an environmental scientist, and as such, I believe that environmentalism is one of my most defining features. So, I simply combined this word with the name I most commonly go by (Jen), to create this blogging site.
